In this EP, we sit down with yaboihanoi – a rare breed who lives at the intersection of Thai classical music and neural audio synthesis. We explore how he turns AI into a cultural amplifier, not a cultural eraser. From building Google’s DDSP library to dropping bass-heavy club tracks in Thai tunings, Hanoi reveals what the mainstream gets wrong about AI music, why he rejects Western equal temperament, and how artists from marginalized traditions can “hack” the system to keep their sound alive.
